Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox: Time, TV, weather for second game of year
Briefly

Competition for the starting rotation spots. Competition at third base. And a competition to see who would make the roster.
In total, the Tigers surrendered just three hits, with none of those coming from the bullpen, and most importantly, they allowed zero runs in the 1-0 victory.
Now Maeda, brought over from the Minnesota Twins this offseason, will be tasked with starting things off for the Tigers as the White Sox try and break through the thaw of spring.
Although Maeda has been in the AL Central since 2020, he's only pitched against the White Sox seven times in his career, with one of those coming when he was on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
