The Chicago White Sox have claimed outfielder Peyton Burdick off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles, the team announced Friday afternoon.
Down in the minors, meanwhile, Burdick is a .235 hitter with an .810 OPS. He has racked up 39 home runs, 133 RBI and 25 stolen bases in 221 games at the Triple-A level.
