'Coco 2' officially in the works from Disney and Pixar

Disney and Pixar have officially begun work on a sequel to the beloved film "Coco," which was a critical and commercial success. CEO Robert Iger announced the sequel during a recent shareholder meeting, promising that it will be filled with humor, heart, and adventure. The original film, released in 2017, won two Oscars and told the touching story of a boy named Miguel. Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina return for this sequel, with a planned release date set for 2029, generating excitement among fans.
"While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humor, heart and adventure," Iger revealed. "And we can't wait to share more soon."
Coco director Lee Unkrich will return for the sequel, as will his co-director Adrian Molina.
