Justin Fields wanted to go to one place and one place only: Pittsburgh. He knew beforehand he would be traded from the Bears, who were planning to take a QB.
Fields expressed his desire to be traded to Pittsburgh but thought it wasn't possible after the Steelers signed Russell Wilson. However, a trade request from Kenny Pickett opened the door for Fields to join the Steelers.
