The Bears selected Caleb Williams as the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, breaking records for merchandise sales on Fanatics. His jerseys set a new draft night sales record across all sports.
Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark had broken the existing record with her No. 22 jersey before Williams, with his alternate orange jersey being the only one available in 2XL, and the navy jersey in youth sizes.
Williams changed his jersey number from 13 to 18 with the Bears, following the announcement. Newly acquired wide receiver Keenan Allen is expected to wear No. 13, with Mike Tomczak, Kyle Orton, and Dante Pettis previously donning No. 18 for the Bears.
