The car, carrying four people, was traveling south on Wood Street around 2 a.m. when the car crashed into a tree near 169th Street, ejecting a passenger from one of the rear seats.
At the time of the crash, a heavy snow system was falling across the Chicago area and northern Illinois with high winds.
