SOM's Residential Chicago Towers Break Ground in the United States
Briefly

Skidmore Owings & Merril's new two-tower development in Downtown Chicago features 635 residential units, with 20% designated as affordable housing, and includes the design of DuSable Park.
DuSable Park, named after Chicago's first non-native settler, Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable, spans 3.3 acres, providing a new public space accessible via a planned extension of the Chicago Riverwalk.
The development, designed by David Childs of SOM, features towers with a distinctive cascading silhouette, outdoor terraces, and a design that reflects Chicago's architectural heritage.
