A small passenger plane made an emergency landing on Interstate 355 Tuesday afternoon, Illinois State Police said.State police responded to the plane landing on the right shoulder of southbound I-355 near Bolingbrook in Will County around 2 p.m.The plane was coming from Middleton, Wisconsin, and on its way to Downers Grove when it "experienced mechanical problems" and had to land, state police said.
