Letters: Improve access to the cherry blossoms at Jackson Park by reopening bridge
Briefly

Thank you for the front-page story about the Jackson Park cherry trees ( "Failure to bloom," May 1).Our family has been the landlord for the purple martin towers there for nearly 20 years, and we have enjoyed watching the trees' progress and the pleasure they bring to visitors. The Clarence Darrow Memorial Bridge, which connects the banks of the Columbia Basin where the trees are planted, has been fenced off for 10 years now.
