The same team behind pop-ups inspired by Saved by the Bell, Good Burger, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer have launched an endeavor centered around a song, Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You.
This 21+ pop-up will last until December 29 at the Virgin Hotel in Chicago, 203 N. Wabash Avenue. A $20 ticket will get customers a welcome cocktail and a chance to hang out in a festive bar.
Instead of writing a letter to Santa, there's a station where fans can send a message to Carey. The speakers will play a barrage of holiday songs, but folks will hear Carey's signature tune at least once during their 90-minute stay.
The cocktails feature Black Irish liqueur, a brand Carey launched in 2021. There's also charcuterie, prime rib sliders, flatbreads, and desserts.
