Boy, 15, charged in Tuesday armed robbery, implicated in second armed robbery in early December, cops say

A 15-year-old boy was charged with three counts of armed robbery after he was arrested and identified as participating in a robbery of two men in the West Loop.
The boy was arrested Tuesday shortly after 7 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Washington Boulevard after an armed robbery that happened earlier in the 2000 block of Madison Street. Two men, ages 38 and 44, were robbed at gunpoint, police said. Officials also charged the boy for his participation in a Dec. 3 robbery in the 800 block of West Van Buren Street that happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. at a retail business, police said.
