Police said they responded just before 11 p.m. to a crash near Harlem and 135th Street, and found a 2008 Nissan pickup in a ravine off the road.
The 26-year-old driver and a 24-year-old passenger were found unresponsive in the truck, and a another passenger, 26, had been ejected from the truck and was found unresponsive, according to police. All three were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The three men died of multiple injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. One of those killed was identified as Denis Trochez, 24, of the 7100 block of Laverne Lane in Tinley Park, according to the office. Information about the two other men who died was not immediately available, as their families had not yet been notified, according to the office.
