Police said their squad car was stopped at a light in the 800 block of East 95th Street when a speeding vehicle that was attempting to turn south lost control and struck their car at 1:08 a.m.
The driver was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, and will be issued a citation, police said.
