Thomas Tuchel Appointed Manager Of The England Men's Football Team
Briefly

I am very proud to have been given the honour of leading the England team. I have long felt a personal connection to the game in this country.
This is a huge privilege, and the opportunity to work with this special and talented group of players is very exciting.
Tuchel becomes the third non-British permanent manager of the England Men's team, following in the footsteps of Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
His appointment follows on from Gareth Southgate's memorable eight-year spell, leading England to a World Cup semi-final and two Euros finals.
