Chelsea has reached a deal in principle to sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid, facilitating Conor Gallagher's transfer in the opposite direction to Madrid.
Felix has reportedly agreed to a six-year contract with an option for an additional year, rejoining after his loan spell last year where he scored four goals.
Gallagher is expected to complete a £34 million move to Atletico, having already agreed personal terms and completed a medical.
The arrival of Felix raises questions about Raheem Sterling's future at Chelsea following his omission from the squad in their season opener against Manchester City.
