There is talk that Chelsea may offer Trevoh Chalobah, currently on loan at Selhurst Park, as part of a potential deal for Guehi. However, Palace seems to prefer a cash transaction instead. Further complicating matters is Chelsea's sell-on clause attached to Guehi, raising questions about how a transfer would unfold if Chelsea were to become the purchasing club.
Given Guehi's expected salary demands of £170,000 per week, practicality dictates that he might struggle to fit into Chelsea's altered wage structure. This situation might impact negotiations significantly, as Chelsea also considers recalling Chalobah from his loan to bolster their defense.
