Southampton manager Russell Martin has cautioned Manchester United and Aston Villa that signing 18-year-old winger Tyler Dibling will cost significantly more than the reported £21 million price tag, given his impressive performances since returning to the club.
Martin emphasized that while Southampton has offered Dibling a competitive contract for his age, negotiations are challenging as they involve his agent, adding, 'I think Tyler wants it done, I think Tyler's parents want it done.'
Despite being a valuable asset to Southampton, having made 14 appearances in the Premier League, Dibling's future remains uncertain as talks to secure his contract extension have yet to resolve.
Dibling, a product of Southampton's academy, had a brief stint at Chelsea but returned to Saints, showcasing his talent as a rising star within the team.
