Kerstin Casparij has been suspended for one game and fined £1,634.61 by the Football Association for making an offensive gesture during the Manchester derby against Manchester United.
The FA stated that Casparij's conduct was considered offensive, insulting, and abusive during the 37th minute of the game.
Despite the suspension of Casparij, Manchester City remains at the top of the Women's Super League table, leading Chelsea by three points with a game in hand.
