Chalobah was one of four Chelsea players to leave the club on season-long loan deals on deadline day. Forward Raheem Sterling joined Arsenal, Serbian goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic moved to Strasbourg and Everton signed striker Armando Broja.
It feels like Trevoh Chalobah will be a guaranteed hit in south London. He should fit in seamlessly at Palace as he knows the Premier League, some of his new team-mates and will not even need to move house.
The defender made 17 appearances for the club last season under Mauricio Pochettino, having been handed his debut by Thomas Tuchel in 2021.
