Chelsea has made a formal approach to Leicester about opening negotiations with Enzo Maresca after positive initial discussions between the manager and the Stamford Bridge brass.
Enzo Maresca has a 9m release clause in his contract, but this will not be an impediment for Chelsea as they seek to secure his services.
