Chelsea captain Millie Bright has renewed her contract until June 2026 with an option for an additional year. Having been with the team for over a decade, she is Chelsea's longest-serving player, amassing 280 appearances, including 165 in the Women's Super League (WSL). Bright has accumulated numerous accolades including seven WSL titles and five FA Cups. She recently highlighted the club as her home and expressed excitement about the development under new manager Sonia Bompastor, as Chelsea aims for their sixth consecutive WSL title this season.
Representing this club and continuing our journey together was never a question to me. This club is my home. Chelsea runs through me. The legacy continues.
Sonia [Bompastor] has come in and has challenged us all on new levels. Every player is developing and no matter your age or how long you've been here, everyone is improving and getting better.
