Lucid is planning to launch three affordable midsize EV models aimed at boosting sales, with the first two targeting the Tesla Model 3 and Y.
According to Derek Jenkins, Lucid's senior VP of design, the company sees growth potential in the off-road space, hinting at a more rugged vehicle.
Jenkins expressed concerns about developing a wagon, stating it’s a declining segment that may not sell well, which influences their design choices.
The third midsize Lucid model is expected to be an off-road-focused crossover, designed to cater to enthusiasts while maintaining crossover characteristics.
