The EV transition hits some snags at Porsche and Audi
Briefly

Audi has recently reversed its naming conventions that differentiated between odd-numbered models (gasoline or hybrid) and even-numbered models (electric, e-tron). While the automaker initially aimed for a more logical naming approach, it has decided to revert to its traditional nomenclature structure. Notable releases include an all-new A5 in gasoline and a fully electric A6, although neither will be available in the U.S. Audi’s new nomenclature will identify model types with 'A' for low floor variants and 'Q' for SUVs or crossovers.
Now Audi has gone a little further, abandoning its almost-new nomenclature in the process. The odd-numbered Audis... would be internal combustion or hybrids... even-numbered Audis... would be electric, or e-tron.
the all-new gasoline-powered A5... comes in a handsome fastback sedan... There's also an all-new, fully electric A6... this one also isn't coming to America.
Forget the odd and even distinction; for now, it means nothing again. A gasoline-powered A6 will break cover on March 3... "A" means a low floor, and "Q" means a high floor.
As of this week, things are back to where they used to be. Audi has reverted to its previous naming conventions, eliminating the distinction between odd and even numbered models.
