Tesla's latest Model X recall isn't just a software update
Briefly

Tesla is recalling more than 9,000 Model X SUVs due to adhesive failure on roof trim pieces, a recurring issue first addressed in 2020.
This recall applies specifically to early 2016 Model X vehicles and entails in-person inspections as the previous software-based remedy was inadequate.
Tesla Service will test the roof trim adhesion and reattach any loose pieces at no charge, although no injuries or crashes have been reported.
This recall follows a pattern for Tesla, which has also recently recalled over 11,000 Cybertrucks for similar safety concerns related to vehicle trim and wipers.
