Tesla tells workers on Cybertruck line no 'need to report to work' for the next three days
Briefly

"On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week (Dec. 3-5), you do not need to report to work," the memo said. Workers were told they would still receive eight hours of pay for each day they'd been scheduled to work, despite the unexpected three-day break.
Factory workers on the Cybertruck line said their schedule had been inconsistent since late October. 'When I started at Tesla you could expect to get overtime pay, now I feel lucky to get 40 hours,' one worker lamented.
Tesla has shortened its production hours for the Cybertruck line earlier this year and even notified some workers about an adjusted schedule recently, but the reasons for these changes remain unclear.
There have been signs that demand for the Cybertruck may have begun to wane, signaling potential issues with sustaining production rates and meeting the high expectations set during its launch.
