Tesla is facing another issue with more than 125,000 of its cars, concerning the seat belt warning systems. Federal regulators found that the warnings were not functioning as intended in certain models, leading to non-compliance with regulations and triggering a recall.
The recall is linked to software, with Tesla planning to send patches virtually starting early June. This comes amidst other probes by the NHTSA, including an investigation into a power steering issue and criticisms on Tesla's handling of Full-Self Driving software and Autopilot mode problems.
