Tesla continues to expand its electric vehicle charging network, operating the most extensive and reliable systems in the industry. According to Max de Zegher, Tesla's Director of Charging for North America, the cost to install a Supercharger stall is around $40,000 to $45,000. This is significantly lower than competitors, such as the NY Green Bank and Revel, whose recent transaction for 267 stalls amounts to approximately $224,719 each. De Zegher also assures that the upcoming V4 Supercharger, capable of up to 500 kW, will maintain similar installation costs.
The company spends about $40k-$45k to install one Supercharger stall, showcasing Tesla's focus on enhancing its EV charging network affordably.
Tesla's Director of Charging confirmed that even with the launch of V4 Supercharger capable of up to 500kW, installation costs will remain under $40k.
