EVject's product allows drivers to disconnect and drive away from a Tesla Supercharger without leaving the vehicle, which has been appreciated by many EV owners, especially women and young drivers who feel unsafe during late-night Supercharging sessions.
Tesla's lawsuit argues that EVject's lack of overtemperature protection in its connector creates a safety hazard, contrasting with EVject's marketing of the product as safe. The legal action was filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
