Tesla falls out of favor among German businesses over Elon Musk behavior
Briefly

Several German companies, including energy supplier Badenova, home builder Viebrock, and drugstore chain Rossmann, are distancing themselves from Tesla, citing concerns about Elon Musk's behavior and statements affecting Germany's business environment. Badenova board member Hellebrand expressed that they would no longer acquire Tesla vehicles once leases expire. Viebrockhaus acknowledged Tesla's positive impact previously but can no longer support Musk's current direction. Rossmann had similar reasons for dropping Tesla from its fleet, citing a mismatch between Musk's comments and the company's values. Tesla has not publicly responded to this boycott.
"Elon Musk's actions, now more or less in a government function, have made us sit up and take notice. We will not accept that," said Badenova board member.
CEO Lars Viebrock commented on Tesla's influence, stating, "We can no longer support the path we are currently on" as the company shifts away from Tesla vehicles.
