Tesla China achieved 17,300 new vehicle registrations from November 4-10, 2024, marking a 10.19% increase compared to the previous week, indicating strong demand.
This week’s figures represent the highest registration for the sixth week of a quarter for Tesla in China, along with a 7.4% year-over-year increase in domestic registrations.
Approximately 10,700 of the new registrations were for the Model Y, and 6,500 for the Model 3, showcasing the popularity of these models produced at Gigafactory Shanghai.
Elon Musk hinted that to match record deliveries from 2023, Tesla would need to deliver around 515,000 vehicles in Q4 2024, with China being crucial to this effort.
