Tesla among car brands least likely to be involved in fatal accidents: study
Briefly

A study by EpicVIN shows Tesla as the third least likely car brand involved in fatal accidents, with only 28.78% fatal injury rate for occupants.
The analysis revealed Land Rover's fatal injury rate at 23.65%, while Ram’s was even lower at 18.68%, indicating larger vehicles may perform better in accidents.
Jurgis Plikaitis, CEO of EpicVIN, remarked on the findings, noting that despite assumptions about larger vehicles being safer, brands like Audi and Mercedes-Benz also showed favorable results.
Using data from the NHTSA’s Fatality and Injury Reporting System, EpicVIN’s study indicates a correlation between vehicle type and fatal accident outcomes, challenging common perceptions.
