Stellantis reported a 12% decline in U.S. sales for the first quarter of 2024, bringing total sales to 293,225 vehicles. Despite some marketing attempts to promote positive results, overall figures were disappointing for the majority of its 14 brands. Chrysler was an exception, thanks to strong sales of the Pacifica minivan, which saw a 98% increase year-over-year. The only other notable sales growth came from Fiat, boosted by the electric 500e, although total sales remained low. Other brands, particularly Dodge, faced significant drops as the company transitions to electric models.
Stellantis' sales declined by 12% in Q1, reflecting ongoing challenges except for Chrysler's Pacifica, which showed significant increases.
Despite Stellantis' strategic marketing efforts, the company's overall U.S. sales were disappointing, with most brands down sharply compared to last year.
