After a reported misunderstanding with traffic flow, Scottie Scheffler has been detained by police in handcuffs after he tried to drive past a police officer amid heavy traffic.
The police officer attempted to attach himself to Scheffler's car, and Scheffler then stopped his vehicle at the entrance to Valhalla. The police officer then began to scream at Scheffler to get out of the car.
The unidentified man was attempting to cross Shelbyville Road, outside the gate to the club, around 5 a.m. Friday when he was struck by a bus in a lane that was dedicated for buses. Police said the man died at the scene.
Sports Journalist Daniel Hussey posted his own video of the arrest on X in which an arresting officer can be heard saying right now, he's going to jail. Right now, he's going to jail.
