A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in northwest Toronto on Monday evening, police say. Officers were called to the area of Rogers and Weston roads shortly before 7 p.m.
Toronto police said officers tried to perform life-saving measures before paramedics took over. The victim was then rushed to a trauma centre in critical condition and pronounced dead.
Police are expected to provide an update later on Monday night. Roads are closed in the area as officers investigate.
