Nissan is expanding charging options for Ariya owners, providing access to over 90,000 fast chargers across the U.S. and Canada through the new Nissan Energy Charge Network.
Later this year, Ariya owners will gain access to Tesla's Supercharger network using a NACS adapter, although it remains uncertain if the adapter will be free.
Next year, Nissan will manufacture electric vehicles in the U.S. and Canada with a NACS port, joining other automakers in standardizing EV charging.
While the Ariya benefits from improved charging infrastructure, the Nissan Leaf remains limited to CHAdeMO connectors, which are increasingly unsupported outside Japan.
