"Right now there's a lot of inventory in the two-and-a-half-million-plus range. If you look at Needham and Wellesley, that inventory is very high right now, so I am trying to make my listing shine," said Amy Gworek of Williams Raveis Real Estate, who has the listing. As of press time, there were 57 properties at that price point or higher on the market in Wellesley and Needham, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
"I was like, 'Oh, why don't we include a car?'" said Gworek, who clarified that she would not be footing the bill for the vehicle but that the cost of the car would be reconciled at closing. As to whether the car idea has drummed up attention, Gworek said she has been getting phone calls since coming up with the idea.
"Cars are a luxury," Gworek continued. "A luxury car and a luxury home seem to make sense to me." Measured at 6,845 square feet, including the basement, the home is located in a neighborhood up the street from Cutler Park Reservation and Charles River Peninsula.
