A man tried to kidnap a 17-year-old girl walking with her mother in a library parking lot, California police said.
Marcus Hopkins, 40, is accused of grabbing the teen by her arm while saying, 'Get in my car,' police said. The girl screamed and managed to break loose.
The man fled in his car, but police found Hopkins hours later and arrested him on a charge of attempted kidnapping, authorities said.
