"When we came out to move my car, my boyfriend tried and he went straight into the hole," Vincenza Malagiere told 1010 WINS.
"There's no one out there so we did our best, but I got him out. Him helping himself and me pulling him out," she added.
The NYPD requested a tow truck to pull the car out of the hole, according to ABC 7.
Three residential buildings and seven private dwellings were affected by the water main break, leaving them unable to shower or flush their toilets.
