Locals described the scene as 'like something from the Wild West' with more than 20 shots fired during the attack on Knocknarea Road in Drimnagh.
Some attackers tried to escape but crashed into a tree and other vehicles before fleeing; three men were arrested near the scene, and three wrecked cars are under investigation.
