The Acura ZDX electric crossover was canceled after its 2024 debut, despite a 325-mile EPA range and a $60,000 starting price. The vehicle was built by General Motors at Spring Hill Assembly in Tennessee as part of a Honda–GM partnership and shared architecture with the Honda Prologue. Planned production for a 2026 model was halted as strategy shifted toward an all-electric Acura RSX and new hybrid-electric Acura models. The RSX will be produced at the EV Hub in Ohio in the second half of 2026 and will be engineered in-house by Honda/Acura. The ZDX incorporated styling from the Precision concept and was sold exclusively online, earning praise for interior space but criticism for interior feel and finish.
