"These results confirm that EV drivers are highly satisfied with their choice and that reports of declining EV popularity are greatly exaggerated," said Petter Haugneland of the Norwegian EV Association.
The study found that 92% of respondents said they would stick to electric cars for their next car purchase, reflecting high satisfaction among EV owners.
The reasons for choosing an EV were primarily lower operating costs, climate-friendliness, and the reduction of operating noise, indicating strong environmental and economic motivations.
Discovering that only 1% would return to a gasoline or diesel vehicle underlines the significant commitment EV owners feel towards electric mobility and its benefits.
