Firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision in Lake Forest where a car was lifted several feet into the air by water from a broken fire hydrant.
Initial reports suggested people were trapped in the suspended car; however, they managed to escape before firefighters arrived.
The incident resulted in two individuals being taken to the hospital for medical care, as firefighters worked to lower the car by reducing the water flow from the hydrant.
