Ford BlueCruise gets NHTSA probe after a pair of deaths

The carmaker's self-driving software, BlueCruise, is the subject of an NHTSA investigation for two fatal crashes in Texas and Pennsylvania, where Mustang Mach-E vehicles hit stationary cars while BlueCruise was engaged.
Similarly to Tesla's Autopilot, BlueCruise allows lane-keeping, lane-changing, and partial hands-free control. However, drivers are still required to stay attentive. NHTSA's scrutiny of Tesla focused on negligence prompting collisions.
