Mercedes-Benz is set to reinvigorate the sedan market with the launch of the CLA, featuring an all-electric version and a hybrid model anticipated by year-end. The all-electric CLA 250+ boasts impressive charging capabilities, allowing it to travel approximately 200 miles on a 10-minute charge with a compatible DC fast charger. Technology plays a pivotal role, with enhancements such as Google’s Gemini AI and Microsoft’s technology aiding in driving support and safety features, alongside a design appealing to a new generation of customers.
The CLA always shaped our brand towards the next generation of customers," said Gorden Wagener, the chief design officer of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, in a statement.
Mercedes-Benz announced two versions of the CLA this week: An all-electric version and a hybrid that will be available "towards the end of the year."
Charging speeds for the CLA are notable; the CLA 250+ can be charged enough in 10 minutes to travel roughly 200 miles.
