The man flew into a rage and allegedly pushed the tow truck driver, hopped in the truck, and took it for a short "joy ride" to 55th Street and 3rd avenue.
Giro, a man who's car was heavily damaged in the melee, said he cannot afford the repairs, and hopes the police catch him.
Video footage shared by News12 shows the man getting in a fighting pose as the tow truck driver defensively retreats.
The chaotic incident happened around 10:40 a.m. on 53rd Street between 1st and 2nd avenues, as the tow truck driver tried to seize the man's vehicle.
