Electric vehicles (EVs) are now a viable option for budget-conscious consumers, with nearly 60% of used EVs priced under $30,000, offering more choices than ever.
According to Recurrent, two years ago under $30,000 was less than 20% of the used EV market, now it’s 60%. This shows a significant shift in supply.
Caldwell notes, 'EVs are different than the rest of vehicles... they have such a good used market right now,' indicating a rise in affordability and choices.
With an average age of three years, used EVs are younger compared to gas vehicles that average four years, representing a trend towards newer available options.
