Burglars steal potato chips from Saratoga High snack shack

Between 2 p.m. on April 20 and 3:21 p.m. on April 22, someone entered a snack shack at the football field of Saratoga High School on Herriman Avenue and stole a bag of potato chips for a loss of $2. The thief or thieves also attempted to pry open a locked drink refrigerator inside the snack shack but were unsuccessful.
Possession of a stolen vehicle, loaded firearms, and high-capacity magazines were reported. The suspect, with prior weapons charges and outstanding warrants from Canada, was found wearing body armor and arrested.
A robbery occurred at the Saratoga Retirement Community where the victim was struck, injured, and robbed of approximately $4,280 after returning home from the bank.
Deputies responded to a suspicious person call involving mail theft and possession of misappropriated property at the 22000 block of Rolling Hills Road, highlighting ongoing criminal activities in the area.
