HR responsibilities include responding to employee inquiries on benefits, payroll, leave, policies, and personnel matters; processing new hires, terminations, role changes, payroll updates, and benefits enrollment; maintaining employee records and HRIS accuracy; drafting HR communications; coordinating recruitment and benefits administration; ensuring California labor law compliance; handling routine employee relations and assisting with union documentation. Office management duties cover daily operations, vendor and building relationships, mail and supplies, Board document filing, keys, event coordination, and culture-building. Qualifications include office management and HR experience and willingness to pursue additional HR training.
