A 2020 paper from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine that ran in Urology Annals examined a few cases of penile ring entrapment (PRE) or complications that resulted from wearing cock rings for extended periods of time.
The max amount of time one should wear a cock ring, according to that paper and other sources, is 30 minutes.
