Toronto under severe thunderstorm watch | CBC News
Briefly

Toronto is under a severe thunderstorm watch with the possibility of torrential downpours of up to 50 mm of rain falling within an hour and strong winds up to 90 km/h. The storm is expected to sweep through the area from late morning to afternoon.
"Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees, and overturn large vehicles," warns Environment Canada.
"Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Water-related activities may be unsafe due to sudden gusts of wind," according to Environment Canada.
